You had me laughing a lot, but your comment about the alleged “60 year old sexting QB” is off base…he is not 60! Most of the other stuff was nails. I like my women the way I like my football…I enjoy watching all the performances on Sundays with Doritos!

One more thing... I do hate that we couldn’t trade Heath. Especially now that he’ll accept arbitration if it’s offered. With that Hoyer master plan wrinkle, I’ll open the odds at even that the front office is desperate to make a trade with whoever claims Heath first in the August waiver process.

Hey you guys never talked about Hoffman vs. Rivera! Not worth discussing anymore? Oh well. I don’t know if you guys plan your episodes too far in advance but it’d be cool if you guys could ask for listeners to weigh in on a topic that you’ll cover during your next episode like you did with Hoffman and Rivera. There could be a little participation on our end of things.

They don’t have a salary cap. If they did, it would be called a salary cap and they wouldn’t fight over it every year. Yes, I didn’t put ‘late’ in there.

Yeah, but the truth is, I live 3 miles from Dodger stadium. It’s more fun when they’re good and when the stadium is a safe place to go. Also, if Mark Cuban buys them I’ll be ecstatic.

I like this style of writing, Dallas. I’m not as familiar with your written material in general.

You’re missing a word in the Reds section. I assume you meant to use the word “late” in there.

Baseball has a salary cap, kind of. It’s a “soft cap”, or “luxury tax”, and it’s not as effective as football’s or hockey’s, but it is very similar to basketball. I agree it should be strengthened, and there is still no parity, but didn’t really seem like you were making a joke about this system that baseball has. It’s relatively new, though.
